Seminar for mining plant operation managers
The aim of the training is to consolidate the knowledge of combating hazards in mining plants and conducting and organizing rescue operations in mining plants. More

Managers of mining plant operations are required to repeat this training at two-year intervals.

Information about the seminar

The seminar lasts 3 days and is held at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. in Bytom. Classes are conducted by representatives of scientific institutes, technical universities, mining supervision, mine rescue.

The seminar is accredited.

Participation in the training in accordance with § 60 (1) of the Regulation of the Minister of Energy of March 16, 2017 on mine rescue (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1052).

COURSE

A course for underground action managers
The aim of the course is to prepare mining rescue deputies to provide first aid in a professional manner, in accordance with medical rescue procedures. More

Underground action managers are required to repeat this course every 3 years.

Information about the course

The training course lasts 5 days and takes place at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. in Bytom. The course ends with an exam verifying the participants’ assimilation of knowledge covered by the course topic.

A course for rescue base managers
The aim of the training is to prepare traffic supervisors of a mining facility to perform the function of a rescue base manager during rescue operations in an underground mining facility. More

The purpose of the training course is to prepare supervisors of the mining plant to perform the function of a rescue base manager during a rescue operation in an underground mining plant.

Rescue base managers are required to repeat this course every 3 years.

The training lasts 5 days and takes place at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. in Bytom. Verification of the effects of the training is carried out by conducting an exam.

A first aid course for mine rescue team leaders
The aim of the course is to prepare mining rescue patrol leaders to provide first aid in a professional manner, in accordance with medical rescue procedures. More

Deputies are required to repeat this course at two-year intervals except for those who are certified as rescuers, as specified in the Law of September 8, 2006 on State Emergency Medical Services.

The course lasts 3 days and is held at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. in Bytom. It ends with an exam verifying the participants’ assimilation of knowledge covered by the course topic.

COURSE

A course in advanced first aid for mine rescuers
The purpose of the course is to prepare mine rescuers working in underground mines cooperating with Centralna Stacja Ratownictwa Górniczego S.A., included in the State Medical Rescue System, to carry out medical rescue tasks during rescue operations, including in particular providing advanced first aid to persons in a state of health emergency in underground workings of mines until they are transferred to the personnel of health care facilities. More

The certificate for obtaining the title “Lifeguard” is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue. After this time, the lifeguard should take the exam again.

Information about the course

The training lasts 8 days (67 hours, including 25 hours of theoretical classes and 42 hours of practical classes) and takes place at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. in Bytom.

The classes are conducted by a system doctor, system nurse or paramedic.

The course program was approved by the Silesian Governor by decision PRII.6312.1.8.2020 dated June 30, 2020. The course is accredited by the Silesian Superintendent of Education WE-KZ.546.1.4.2020. The course ends with a state exam, theoretical and practical.

The course is accredited.

Participants of the course are mine rescuers working in underground mines cooperating with the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. which is in the system of State Medical Rescue.

Participation in the training in accordance with § 55 (1) pt. 6 of the Regulation of the Minister of Energy of March 16, 2017 on mine rescue (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1052), based on Article 13(8) of the Act of September 8, 2006 on State Medical Rescue (Journal of Laws of 2006, item 1410, as amended), the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 19, 2007 on the course in qualified first aid (Journal of Laws of 2007, item 408, as amended).

A recertification course in the scope of advanced first aid for mine rescuers
The aim of the course is to refresh the knowledge in the scope of providing advanced first aid by mine rescuers working in underground mining facilities cooperating with Centralna Stacja Ratownictwa Górniczego S.A., in the State Medical Rescue System, and to prepare for the exam in advanced first aid in order to renew the rescuer's qualifications. More

The certificate for obtaining the title “Lifeguard” is valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue. After this time, the lifeguard should take the exam again.

The course lasts 3 days (practical classes) and is held at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. in Bytom.

Classes are conducted by a system doctor, system nurse or paramedic.

The course ends with a state exam, theoretical and practical, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 19, 2007 on the course in qualified first aid (Journal of Laws of 2007, item 408, as amended). A person may take the exam if he/she has a certificate, the expiration date of which is no later than 3 months from the date of the exam.

Conditions of admission

Participants in the course are mine rescuers with a 3-year expiration date of the certificate of completion of the course in qualified first aid and obtaining the title “Rescuer”.
